Acid Rain - the Silent Crisis
Considers the main issues surrounding one of the most controversial and damaging by-products of the industrial revolution - acid rain. Forests, fisheries and drinking water supplies throughout Europe - including Britain, Canada and Scandinavia - are being adversely affected. This programme makes sense of the chemistry of acid rain and puts the biological, economic and political aspects of the problem into perspective. Includes: 40 colour slides, illustrated scripts & photocopy masters of work sheets. KS3 & 4.
Last few slidepacks reduced to £10.00 plus p&p

A Green Earth - or a Dry Desert?
Dramatically demonstrates our dependence on the tropical forest and its products as a source of food, timber and industrial raw materials; as a genetic storehouse and major climatic influence as well as the home of more than half of the world’s animal and plant species. Originally produced in support of a WWF Tropical Forest Campaign. Includes: 80 colour slides and script notes. KS3 & 4.
Excellent set of slides on tropical rain forest - last few copies reduced to £12.50 plus p&p

Saving the Plants that Save Us
Plants provide us with all our food - directly through crops or indirectly through animals - and are the source of medicines, industrial raw materials and a vast array of other useful products. The programme reminds us just how important plants are and looks at examples of both threatened plant communities and individual species and suggests what can be done.
Includes: 80 colour slides and illustrated script notes. KS3 & 4.
Last few copies reduced to £10.00 plus p&p
